Summary: Caprona is the land of dinosaurs and primitive man, as described many times over by Edgar Rice Burroughs. It was such a staple in his career that we got two films all about it in the 70s. They were charming in their own way, but this...isn't.

History: Set in the modern day, this time, a group of people become stranded on the island of Caprona after going into the Bermuda Triangle. They are quick to realize that the place is full of prehistoric creatures, particularly giant Tyrannosaurs. They also happen to stumble upon an ancient crew from a U-boat itching to get off the island as soon as possible.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The first marauding T-Rex is killed when it eats a man holding a grenade. The other is driven off when a science device blows up in its face. As for the rest, all but two escape. These two form a living on Caprona, and seem to be doing rather well.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-As per the norm with Asylum-led productions, the CGI is all kinds of awful, and what little practical stuff there is falls flat due to bad editing. Needless to say, expecting the Asylum to pull something better off is like hoping for Phoenix, Arizona to freeze over.

Trivia: -This film was meant as a mockbuster of "Land of the Lost". No, really. Still, it's at least less offensive.

-This film was directed by C. Thomas Howell, a former child actor who may have done a few Asylum movies, but prefers doing many different acting gigs instead. Good for him.
